About the Artist:
ZERO is a graffiti and visual artist from Delhi, who has been shaping the streets of India with his work since 2008. Rooted in graffiti and traditional letterform, his practice explores typography and print media. He traverses global elements of graffiti with an Indian aesthetic, creating a niche for himself in the craft. Through his murals, ZERO has also developed a figurative aspect of his practice. Exploring the socio-economic effects of urbanisation and the changing nature of a metropolis, ZERO’s works reflect on the resilience of humans and nature alike. He portrays subtle complexities through layers of imagery and his use of colour.
In addition to his graffiti practice, ZERO is the co-founder of the UFO Crew in India, and is part of India’s first HipHop Collective “‘Slumgods.” ZERO has represented India at the Streets of Style Festival in Brazil; has participated at the Sassoon Dock Art Project; and his works can be found across India and UAE. ZERO has also worked with India’s leading brands such as Facebook, Adidas, Taco Bell, Social, DLF, and internationally with noon.com and Manarat Al Saadiyat.
