About the Artist:
Amogh Bhatnagar is a visual artist who designs books, visual identities, editorial illustrations, exhibition publications, and thinks, reads, and occasionally writes about art, design, and about a lot of other things.
Amogh’s practice involves image-making using collage as the primary medium to mediate between images that already exist, and images that can be made. His experience of working as a designer has led his work to be a collaborative effort, taking from components created by himself and others, to feed into design systems. The source material for him comes from various places: books, the internet, images of old books available on the internet, and images that are licensed, stolen, adapted, appropriated, borrowed, taken with permission, or made in collaboration.
Commenting on the current employment of AI to generate images at unfathomable scales and often somewhat nefarious undertones, Amogh states, “I think of my work as an inquiry into making works that are 'generative', driven by prompts and 'found' imagery. They reflect an interaction between the personal (what I make) and the collective (what I draw from). Collage becomes a medium to understand and unpack frameworks for putting together thoughts, notions, sounds, words, colours, lines, shapes, and images together as a language with personal and shared grammars.”
Amogh holds an M.Des. in Communication Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and is currently a designer at the Delhi-based design studio Squadron 14. Amogh was a D&AD New Blood Portfolio Pick honoree in 2022.

Our wooden products use natural wood as a material and each piece will have a unique grain pattern of its own. Furthermore it may have slight hue variations than seen on the website image due to the natural wood material variation and usage of our natural oil stains. Solid wood also expands and contracts with the weather changes so minor warpage during the seasonal changes is very normal.
