Retail Executive (Store Sales)
Location: Worli, Mumbai Type: Full Time

Overview

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations. The role requires a customer-first mindset, product knowledge, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients to drive sales and brand loyalty.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Engagement


- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.

- Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets.

- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.

- Maintain strong product knowledge to guide customer decisions confidently.


Store Operations


- Ensure products are well displayed, priced, and stocked at all times.

- Manage billing, cash handling, and POS transactions accurately.

- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing in line with brand standards.

- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the Store Manager.

- Assist in store opening and closing duties, including daily sales reporting.


Customer Experience & Relationship Building


- Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers.

- Handle customer feedback, queries, and complaints professionally and promptly.

- Contribute to creating a positive and engaging in-store atmosphere.


Team Collaboration


- Coordinate with the store team to ensure smooth operations.

- Support in-store events, promotions, and campaigns.

- Participate in regular team meetings and share insights on customer preferences and market trends.


Requirements


- Education: Graduate / Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in lifestyle, fashion, furniture, or luxury retail.


Skills


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Customer-oriented approach with a pleasant personality.

- Good understanding of sales techniques and negotiation skills.

- Basic computer knowledge (POS, billing software, MS Excel).
